Sentiment Analysis
American Rare Earths Ltd ( ASX:ARR OTCQX:ARRNF ) has reported strong initial assay results from its 2026 feasibility drilling program at the Cowboy State Mine area of the Halleck Creek Rare Earths Project in Wyoming.
The company has confirmed broad, near-surface mineralisation across the first six holes at the project
The first certified results returned a pooled average grade of 3,497 parts per million total rare earth oxides (TREO) and a median of 3,879 ppm TREO, while the highest individual sample assayed 9,084 ppm TREO over 3.02 metres in hole HC26-RM051.
Around 93% of the 386 geological assay intervals reported exceeded the company’s 1,000 ppm TREO cut-off used for the current Cowboy State Mine resource, reinforcing the broad distribution of mineralisation within the Red Mountain area.
All six holes returned substantial mineralised sections, with HC26-RM056 delivering one of the broadest intervals so far at 191.11 metres grading 3,951 ppm TREO from 8.84 metres downhole.
Other notable intervals included 110.02 metres at 4,221 ppm TREO in HC26-RM055, 102.63 metres at 3,854 ppm TREO in HC26-RM052 and 99.44 metres at 3,796 ppm TREO in HC26-RM051.
The drilling is part of an 18-hole HQ core program designed to support the ongoing feasibility study at Cowboy State Mine, with the work targeting higher-grade zones near the top of Red Mountain as well as areas around its base.
