The positive quarterly return was mainly due to the income (or carry) generated by the fund's core of short-duration corporate bonds. We reduced duration over the period, moving from 0.9 years at the end of March to 0.72 years in June. The U.S. faces a different source of upward price pressure due to the buildout of infrastructure for artificial intelligence.
