Hypershell, a global leader in consumer exoskeletons, has concluded its participation in IFA 2026 with the world premiere of Hypershell Halo™, designed for all-terrain mobility; industry recognition with a total of 21 awards; and high engagement with the international audience of consumers, retailers, and professionals.
The world premiere of Hypershell Halo took center stage in the brand’s IFA offering, being the industry’s first product to coordinate four motorized hip and knee joints in a single system to deliver powerful and natural assistance and protection, regardless of where and how people move. Weighing just 2.6 kg and delivering a peak power of 1,490 W, it offers up to 20 km of battery range and folds down to less than 8 liters, allowing it to be carried in a backpack.
Hypershell earned widespread industry recognition with nearly 20 awards from leading and niche media outlets, including TechRadar, GameStar.de, T3, Netzwelt, and Tom’s Guide. Complementing the press accolades, the brand also received awards in the “Best in Mobility” and “Best in Design” categories as a winner at the IFA 2026 Innovation Awards, recognizing its advanced, accessible, and human-centric wearable robotics.
Throughout the five-day exhibition, the Hypershell booth saw a constant influx of visitors, with continuous queues to try the products firsthand. Attendees—ranging from outdoor enthusiasts and industry professionals to general consumers—tested the full product range and provided highly positive feedback on key performance parameters, such as AI-driven gait synchronization, intuitive adaptive support, and versatile use cases, spanning from fitness training to everyday and outdoor mobility support.
Savvy visitors were also seen utilizing rented Hypershell exoskeletons to navigate the exhibition grounds with greater ease.
Linking the product experience to its Tech for Good mission, the brand converted over 800,000 steps accumulated by visitors during booth trials into a charitable contribution under the theme “Every Step Counts.” Eight X Pro S exoskeletons, valued at €7,992 total, will be donated to Ramblers, the UK-based hiking charity, to drive outdoor accessibility initiatives.
Hypershell is expanding its retail footprint with in-store experience zones being rolled out in key markets. The brand is partnering with local retail chains such as Mediaworld and Unieuro in Italy, Decathlon and Fnac in France, Globetrotter in Germany, Intersport and Bründl Sports in Austria, and Lehner in Switzerland, thereby broadening hands-on access to its technology for local consumers. “IFA 2026 marks a milestone for Hypershell. The overwhelming reception of Halo and the broad industry recognition reinforce the growing demand for accessible, consumer-centric exoskeleton technology,” said Nick Wang, Head of Sales Europe at Hypershell. “As we move forward with global pre-orders for Halo, Hypershell will also expand the network of retail and experiential touchpoints to bring this technology to more users across the region.”
