Morpho UV-Drucker auf der IFA mit praktischer Live-Druckvorführung vorgestellt

Morpho, a company specializing in UV printing technology, is presenting its first UV desktop printer at IFA 2026 in Hall 17-196. Visitors can see Morpho's colorful, textured prints, and some have the opportunity to print on a selection of provided unprinted materials themselves.

Morpho's UV desktop printer can print on a variety of materials, including wood, glass, leather, metal, and more, delivering vibrant colors and tactile textures for personalized results. At IFA 2026, the booth attracted creatives, educators, and tech enthusiasts who gathered to watch live demonstrations. Among those who tried Morpho's printer, three aspects are most frequently highlighted: print quality, the moving gantry construction, and overall ease of use.

Visitors are initially drawn to the prints, which feature precise color reproduction and finely detailed textures. With G7 Master ColorSpace certification, Morpho ensures consistent color output across different products. The same precision is evident in the relief-like textures created by the industrial-grade print head, which applies fine ink layers to produce detailed, tactile surfaces. The print head enables high carriage speeds of up to 600 mm/s while still ensuring precise detail reproduction.

Attendees also highlighted the printer's compact desktop footprint. Thanks to its moving gantry architecture—where the entire gantry moves along both axes—the printer offers a large, fully enclosed print chamber that accommodates various objects while still fitting on a desk. Early users have responded positively to the Morpho printer's user-friendliness. The integrated Stereo Vision Smart Alignment™ system quickly captures an object's height and contours, while Morpho Studio's guided workflows help users go from idea to print with minimal setup.

The Morpho team shared that the program has been in development for several years, aiming to make UV printers a practical tool for everyday creativity. Founder Mingyu “Brett” Wang, formerly DJI’s global head of R&D, stated, “We are in direct communication with our community, taking feedback, and making improvements swiftly.”
