Agar Capital 5.54K Followers Follow Summary Caterpillar has fallen nearly 30% from its recent high, bringing the stock back toward a technical area where I believe the risk-reward has become attractive again. The market still values CAT largely as a cyclical industrial, but Power & Energy is becoming a much larger share of profits, with multi-year order visibility, stronger margins, and exposure. Services, connected assets, rental, and mining replacement demand are making CAT less dependent on the traditional construction cycle and could support a structurally higher valuation multiple. CAT is still expensive on conventional metrics, but my Sum-of-the-Parts valuation produces an implied value of about $1,290 per share. I rate the stock a Strong Buy, with execution in Power.
