Ciena Corporation (NYSE: CIEN ) will release its third quarter earnings report before the opening bell on Thursday, Sept. 3 . Analysts expect the Hanover, Maryland-based company to report quarterly earnings of $1.73 per share, up from 67 cents per share in the year-ago period.
