“The investment thesis is simple, and we’re bringing the two products home,” noted Carlos Peña, head of ETF & funds management at Texas Capital, during a recent Bloomberg interview. “They are Texas focused, and we’re bringing them home to an exchange that’s headquartered here in the state. And frankly, it validates our investment thesis and what we’ve seen since we’ve launched these products.”
Putting this all together, OILT’s investment base has plenty to be excited about. Not only is the fund continuing to deliver on its investment promise, but moving to a new exchange could help spark more interest in the Texas Capital lineup. For those keeping an eye on energy ETFs, this could be a fund worth watching.
