After submitting further information, the FDA "concluded that any pharmacological intervention targeting the PRC2 complex carries equivalent malignancy risk regardless of the specific subunit engaged." As a result, the Company has "no viable regulatory path forward for further clinical development of pociredir." Following this news, the price of Fulcrum Therapeutics stock declined from a closing price on June 1, 2026 of $6.42 per share to close at $3.14 per share on June 2, 2026, a decline of $3.28 per share, or by 51.09%.
