Futura Medical PLC ( AIM:FUM OTC:FAMDF, FRA:GYX) has passed a series of operational milestones across its sexual health portfolio as it repositions for growth following a strategic review.
The AIM-listed group behind Eroxon, the over-the-counter erectile dysfunction gel, appointed Market Performance Group as its new US commercial partner from 1 September, replacing Haleon after a two-month transition.
Futura said the move gives it a clearer route to rebuilding momentum in one of the world's largest erectile dysfunction markets.
The company also advanced negotiations with new partners in China, Korea, Taiwan and Turkey, covering both domestic and cross-border opportunities.
On its pipeline, Futura said a home user test of 223 men aged between 18 and 59 showed high efficacy levels for Eroxon Intense, a faster and stronger-acting formulation, supporting the decision to move ahead with a commercial launch.
Eroxon Intense has received EU market clearance, with US Food and Drug Administration approval expected in the fourth quarter.
Futura's WSD4000 female sexual health gel also produced positive results, with 80% of women reporting an improved overall sexual experience in a home user test.
The company has begun early-stage discussions with potential commercial partners for WSD4000 across the United States, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America.
Futura also finalised plans to consolidate production of its Eroxon range into a single global strategic supplier.
