As cabin monitoring systems become increasingly standard, traditional image processing-only systems often struggle with visibility obstructions from seatbacks, blind spots in footwells, and obscured occupants, while distributed sensors complicate vehicle wiring and roof structure. Multimodal fusion eliminates blind spots. The integration of the Smart Mirror with the interior radar overcomes optical limitations through the penetration power of RF signals. The Smart Mirror's high-resolution camera captures driver fatigue, distraction, and unresponsiveness from an optimal forward-facing angle. Simultaneously, the roof radar penetrates ceilings, clothing, and high seatbacks to capture micro-breathing in rear seats and footwells, achieving comprehensive 3D spatial coverage.

Scenario-wide capture in line with safety standards. The ODMS architecture covers seven core functions: driver fatigue, distraction, unresponsiveness, and mobile phone usage detection, as well as seatbelt status, occupant classification, and presence detection throughout the cabin. This integrated approach provides automakers with a reliable, scenario-wide capture basis to help vehicles achieve five-star safety ratings according to Euro NCAP.

Optimized architecture and more interior space. By integrating optical components into the Smart Mirror and combining them with a compact radar module, ODMS eliminates numerous headliner cutouts and complex roof-area wiring.
