Baidu Provides Update on Voluntary Conversion to Dual-Primary Listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange

BEIJING , Aug. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Baidu, Inc. ("Baidu" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: BIDU ; HKEX: 9888 (HKD Counter) and 89888 (RMB Counter)), a leading AI company with strong Internet foundation, today announced that the Company's voluntary conversion of its secondary listing status to primary listing on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Hong Kong Stock Exchange") will become effective on September 1, 2026 (the "Effective Date"). Upon the Effective Date, Baidu will become a dual-primary listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in Hong Kong SAR and the Nasdaq Global Select Market in the United States. The conversion does not involve any issuance of new shares or fundraising activities by the Company. The stock marker "S" will be removed from the Company's stock short names for both the HKD and RMB counters on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with effect from September 1, 2026 following the conversion.
