Aftermath Silver advances drilling at Berenguela and Challacollo

Aftermath Silver Ltd (TSX-V:AAG, OTCQX:AAGFF, FRA:FLM1) told investors that it is advancing drilling and development work at its Berenguela silver-copper-manganese project in southern Peru and Challacollo silver-gold project in northern Chile, with a prefeasibility study at Berenguela remaining on schedule for early 2027.

At Berenguela, the company has completed 4,002 metres of its third diamond drilling campaign as of July. The program is targeting untested areas in the eastern and southeastern portions of the known mineralization, upgrading portions of indicated resources, further defining the northern extent of the resource and collecting material for additional metallurgical testing.

The company has begun follow-up drilling at the Copper East target, where previous drilling identified elevated copper and silver grades. Two section lines are planned 50 and 100 metres east of hole AFD139, which returned 69 metres grading 1.19% copper and 78 grams per tonne silver.

Aftermath also plans to begin drilling at the South-West Intrusive target, located about four kilometres from the main Berenguela resource, once one of its drill rigs becomes available.

The company is also completing a nine-hole geotechnical drilling program to support engineering work for the prefeasibility study. Metallurgical testing, hydrogeological work and trade-off studies covering plant throughput, location, reagent supply and infrastructure are also underway.
