Lument Finance Trust, Inc. (NYSE: LFT ) ("we", "LFT" or "the Company") today reported its second quarter results and also announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously approved a 1-for-10 reverse stock split of the Company's issued and outstanding shares of common stock (the "Reverse Stock Split").
Second Quarter 2026 Results GAAP net loss attributable to common shareholders for the second quarter was $9.2 million, or $0.18 per share of common stock. Distributable Loss for the second quarter was $5.3 million, or $0.10 per share of common stock. Reverse Stock Split The Reverse Stock Split is being implemented in order to regain compliance with applicable New York Stock Exchange listing requirements and support an efficient public trading market for the Company's common stock. The Reverse Stock Split is expected to become effective at 5:00 pm Eastern Time on September 9, 2026 (the "Effective Time"). Accordingly, at the Effective Time, every ten issued and outstanding shares of the Company's common stock will be converted into one share of common stock. The Company's common stock is expected to begin trading on a split-adjusted basis on the New York Stock Exchange at the opening of trading on September 10, 2026 (the first trading day after the Effective Time), under the existing ticker symbol "LFT", with a new CUSIP number: 55025L306. The Reverse Stock Split will affect all stockholders uniformly and will not alter any stockholder's percentage ownership interest in the Company, except with respect to the treatment of fractional shares. No fractional shares will be issued in connection with the Reverse Stock Split. Stockholders who would otherwise be entitled to receive a fractional share as a result of the Reverse Stock Split will receive cash in lieu of such fractional share. The Reverse Stock Split is expected to reduce the number of issued and outstanding shares of the Company's common stock from approximately 52.5 million shares to approximately 5.3 million shares. Stockholders holding shares in book-entry form or through a bank, broker or other nominee will have their positions automatically adjusted to reflect the Reverse Stock Split and will not be required to take any action in connection with the Reverse Stock Split. The Company reserves the right to abandon or delay the Reverse Stock Split and will inform stockholders of any changes to its plans.
