M2i Global Inc ( OTC:MTWO ) View Price & Profile M2i Global signs deal to explore merger with Vivakor Published: 09:42 13 Aug 2026 EDT M2i Global Inc (OTC:MTWO) and Vivakor Inc (NASDAQ:VIVK) have signed a non-binding agreement to explore combining their businesses, with the goal of strengthening the US critical minerals supply chain. The agreement opens the door for the two companies to explore strategic opportunities across commodities trading, reclamation and critical minerals, with a shared goal of advancing domestic mineral independence. The proposed combination would pair M2i's critical minerals platform with Vivakor's commodities marketing and remediation businesses, creating potential for an expanded US-focused platform spanning commodity marketing, resource recovery and critical materials supply chain development. M2i is a US-based critical materials infrastructure and systems-integration platform focused on strengthening domestic access to critical minerals and metals. Its platform includes a federally sited critical mineral repository initiative, multi-commodity processing capabilities, commercial offtake and industry relationships, and compliance and traceability systems designed to support defense and US critical minerals supply chains. Under the agreement, M2i and Vivakor will spend the next 30 days negotiating details like valuation, deal structure, and who would lead the combined company. The current plan is for Vivakor to acquire M2i in a stock deal, but both sides are open to other structures. Once the 30 days are up, the companies could sign a more detailed agreement, keep talking, or walk away from the deal entirely. Major General (Ret.) Alberto Rosende, CEO of M2i Global, said the company has known Vivakor's leadership team for more than a year and has been impressed with their ability to navigate the public markets and reposition their business for growth across commodities trading and remediation. “We believe there are meaningful areas of overlap between our organizations and look forward to working together to evaluate opportunities that could strengthen the U.S. critical minerals supply chain and benefit both companies,” Rosende told shareholders. James Ballengee, Chairman, President and CEO of Vivakor, said he believes there are compelling strategic synergies between the two organizations, adding that critical minerals represent a natural extension of the platform Vivakor is building.
