Thruvision Group PLC ( AIM:THRU OTC:DIGTF ) View Price & Profile Thruvision shares surge 46% to 0.91p on £3m Asian airport contract Published: 09:01 10 Aug 2026 BST Thruvision Group PLC (AIM:THRU, OTC:DIGTF) shares jumped 46% to 0.91p after the security screening group landed its largest contract in Asia to date. The AIM-listed company said its principal regional partner has won a deal to deploy Thruvision systems across several major airports in South-East Asia, generating more than £3 million of revenue. That is a substantial sum for a business valued at roughly £4 million even after Monday's rally. The work centres on screening airport staff rather than passengers, targeting the so-called insider threat posed by workers with access to secure areas. Thruvision's technology uses passive terahertz imaging, detecting concealed metallic and non-metallic items on people walking through without requiring them to stop or empty their pockets. Delivery is scheduled for the second half of the financial year ending 31 March 2027. It is the third contract worth more than £1 million that the company has secured in Asia in the past 14 months, and the second major regional order this calendar year. The award builds on a deployment of multiple WalkTHRU lanes at a large cultural event in the region last year. Victoria Balchin, chief executive, said the aviation sector increasingly recognised that security extended well beyond passenger screening, with insider threat now a major operational priority. She said working with experienced regional partners allowed the company to address those challenges at scale. Thruvision has been rebuilding since a strategic review last summer, when it opted to remain independent and raised fresh capital at 1p a share rather than sell the business. Management has pointed to applications beyond aviation, including prisons, warehouses, logistics sites and other critical infrastructure. Continue reading
