Management stated: "This rapid pace of hiring has strained our onboarding and training processes and the ability of our area sales directors to spend the time necessary to accelerate these new team members up the productivity curve." Management further stated: "The scale of the turnover, the slower pace of the territory manager productivity ramp, and the concentration of these new hires in a subset of our regions are the primary factors behind today's guidance update." Management also stated that slightly less than half of CVRx's regions, those with the highest turnover and least-tenured leaders, were experiencing negative year-to-date implant growth. CVRx also attributed its revised outlook in part to a prolonged challenge with one of its largest Medicare Advantage payers. The Company further disclosed that it received a Department of Justice civil investigative demand in May 2026 concerning certain sales and marketing practices. Johnson Fistel is investigating whether CVRx or certain executives misrepresented or failed to timely disclose material information concerning sales-force execution, onboarding, reimbursement challenges, and the Company's 2026 revenue outlook.
