Pinnacle Silver & Gold Corp (TSX-V:PINN, OTCQB:PSGCF, FRA:P9J) announced that it has identified gold-silver mineralization in previously inaccessible underground workings at its El Potrero property in Durango, Mexico, following rehabilitation and channel sampling.
The company reported that the newly accessible workings, known collectively as Dos de Mayo Norte, extend about 93 metres along the northwest strike of the Dos de Mayo vein and sit approximately 35 metres above the mine’s main level. The workings overlap the main level by about 25 metres, including an area where previous channel sampling identified higher-grade mineralization.
Sampling in the South Raise returned grades of up to 10.76 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 215 g/t silver over 1.3 metres. Within that interval, Pinnacle reported 26.1 g/t gold and 511 g/t silver over 0.50 metres, while another sample returned 5.41 g/t gold and 230 g/t silver over 0.80 metres.

Surface trenching in the area has previously returned some of the highest silver grades identified on the property, including 13.2 g/t gold and 2,280 g/t silver over 0.30 metres, and 9.9 g/t gold and 1,444 g/t silver over 0.30 metres.
