National plaintiffs' law firm Berger Montague PC announces a class action lawsuit against PicS N.V. (NASDAQ: PICS) ("PicS" or the "Company") on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired PicS Class A common stock during the period from January 27, 2026 through June 5, 2026 (the "Class Period"), including in or traceable to the Company's initial public offering ("IPO"). Investor Deadline: Investors who purchased or acquired PicS securities during the Class Period may, no later than August 4, 2026 , seek to be appointed as a lead plaintiff representative of the class.
PicS N.V., headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, is a digital financial services company offering credit and lending products primarily to underserved consumer and small business segments. The Company completed its initial public offering on the Nasdaq in January 2026.
According to the lawsuit, PicS's IPO offering documents were false and misleading in that, among other things, they failed to disclose that the Company had overhauled its credit evaluation procedures in December 2025 after finding them deficient, reclassified approximately R$590 million in loan exposures to a higher-risk category, and concealed a materially elevated rate of new nonperforming loans in the fourth quarter of 2025 that deviated significantly from the historical trends presented to investors.
As the true state of the Company's business became known, PicS shares declined dramatically, causing substantial investor losses. By June 4, 2026, the Company's Class A shares had fallen to less than $9.00 per share, a decline of more than 50% from the $19.00 IPO price.
