Sentiment Analysis
American Airlines is upgraded to buy, driven by record Q2 revenue of $16.7 billion and resilient demand. Premium unit revenue rose more than 13%, while corporate revenue increased 26% for a fifth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth. Management attributed the full-year guidance reduction primarily to higher expected jet fuel costs, while demand and pricing remained strong. The company ended Q2 with $11.3 billion of liquidity and still expects positive free cash flow and lower net debt.
