NovoCure: Why I'm Fading The Q2 Earnings Rally

Sentiment Analysis
NovoCure remains a Hold as recent gains and operational improvements do not alter its long-term, glioblastoma-centric outlook. Q2 revenue grew 16% Y/Y to $183.6M, with adjusted EBITDA guidance raised to $0–$15M, yet true cash generation remains elusive. Optune Pax's early uptake is promising but too preliminary to signal sustainable growth; its Q2 contribution was just $1.6M. Optune Maia awaits an FDA decision, but without a survival benefit, its commercial impact is likely incremental rather than transformative. NovoCure (NVCR) is a stock that I've covered since 2017. Back then, the company was growing its revenues over 100% Y/Y on the wings of Optune Gio, a Tumor Treating Fields device used for glioblastoma.
