IndiGo makes historic selection of Honeywell Aerospace avionics and APUs to equip 810 new Airbus aircraft in fleet expansion

IndiGo, India's largest airline, has selected Honeywell Aerospace's avionics and auxiliary power units (APUs) to equip 810 new Airbus A320neo family aircraft. This agreement is Honeywell Aerospace's largest-ever commercial equipage and service deal. Honeywell Aerospace will also provide aftermarket support. The selected systems include the 131-9A APU, advanced weather radar, traffic collision avoidance systems, and flight management systems, aimed at enhancing safety, situational awareness, and fuel efficiency.
