Experian PLC (LSE:EXPN) reported a solid start to its 2027 financial year, keeping full-year guidance unchanged after first-quarter revenue grew 10%. The company said total revenue from ongoing operations increased 8% at constant exchange rates in the three months to 30 June, while organic growth was 7%. North America, which accounts for around two-thirds of group revenue, delivered 7% organic growth, driven by demand for fraud prevention products, analytics software and mortgage-related services. Consumer services revenue in the region fell 2% following the planned wind-down of two large data breach support contracts, although the business grew 3% excluding that impact. Latin America remained the fastest-growing region, with organic revenue up 12%, helped by new business wins in Brazil and continued strength in fraud prevention. UK and Irish revenue increased 5%, supported by new customer wins and growth in the Ascend Platform. Chief executive Brian Cassin said: "Our full-year expectations are unchanged. We continue to execute well, supported by our trusted data assets, scaled platforms and growing AI-enabled opportunities."
