Jefferies has advised NextEnergy Solar Fund (NESF) that a sale is the best way forward for the company, as its shares rose 5% on Wednesday.
The FTSE 250-listed company is understood to have received a number of approaches from potential buyers.
The fund’s shares have been trading at a discount to net asset value (NAV) for some time, and Jefferies analyst Michael van Dulken said that a sale would be the best way forward.
