Wix and Elavon Team to Improve Small Business Payments

Israel-based software company Wix has launched a partnership with U.S. Bank -owned payment processor Elavon . The collaboration, announced Tuesday (July 7), is designed to enhance the recently launched Elavon Business Solutions (EBS) platform by combining the company’s small business payments/software capabilities with Wix’s website creation and unified commerce technology. “At Elavon, our commitment is to help small businesses succeed—no matter where they are in their journey,” Pari Sawant , global chief product officer at Elavon, said in a news release. “Elavon Business Solutions reflects that commitment by giving businesses the flexibility to start quickly, operate efficiently and scale with confidence. Through our partnership with Wix, we’re delivering a unified platform that brings together payments, digital capabilities and human support—so business owners can focus on growth, not complexity.” According to the release, EBS brings payments and vertical specific software into one platform, letting business owners manage operations across channels with less complexity and more visibility. The addition of Wix lets businesses “seamlessly establish a digital presence and connect online and in-person sales in one cohesive system,” the release added.
