transcosmos joins youth mentoring and support program in partnership with SANKAKUSHA

transcosmos today announced its participation in a youth mentoring and support program in partnership with nonprofit organization SANKAKUSHA as part of the Collaborative Growth Society initiative promoted by KEIZAI DOYUKAI (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) to support social participation and employment among young people facing challenging circumstances.

SANKAKUSHA logo The Collaborative Capitalism Committee of KEIZAI DOYUKAI has identified "children and young people" as one of its priority themes and is working toward the realization of a Collaborative Growth Society, which seeks to address social issues while achieving economic growth through collaboration between businesses and the social sector. Based on the belief that companies should actively engage in solving social issues in partnership with the social sector, the committee promotes a variety of practical activities.

This program originated from the Social Impact Co-creation Lab (Co-creation Lab), a co-creation platform established through collaboration among nonprofit organization CROSS FIELDS, nonprofit organization Japan Association of New Public, and KEIZAI DOYUKAI, where nonprofits and companies work together to demonstrate approaches to solving social issues that achieve both social impact and business viability around specific themes.

In this program, transcosmos employees will serve as mentors to young people supported by SANKAKUSHA, engaging in regular dialogue and providing ongoing support over a period of approximately six months. Rather than offering short-term support focused solely on employment, the program aims to create opportunities for each young person to connect with a working adult they can turn to for advice, helping them expand their possibilities and future options. By building ongoing relationships with employees from the job-readiness stage onward, the program seeks to expand young people's connections with society and support them in taking their first step toward social participation.
