American Water Joins Conversation at The Financial Research Institute's Annual Public Utility Symposium

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., joins important discussions at the Financial Research Institute's (FRI) Annual Public Utility Symposium held September 23, 2026, in Columbia, Missouri.

Marking its 35th year, the 2026 FRI Symposium will examine how the industry can meet changing customer demands and expectations – specifically balancing affordability, infrastructure needs, reliability and utility financial health.

American Water presenters include: Rebecca Losli, President, Illinois American Water will join the Intercepting the New Reality panel. The session will cover AI load requests, global supply chain, and the critical water-energy requirements of data centers. Chuck Rea, Vice President Regulatory Pricing and Affordability, American Water will participate in the Breaking the Affordability Code panel. Chuck will explore how utilities can support customers who need help, while modernizing infrastructure and fueling regional development.
