UiPath is targeting more than $2 billion in annual recurring revenue this year as it positions AI orchestration and governed automation as essential for enterprise adoption.
The company outlined a product roadmap centered on its “Map of Work,” Cartographer, Process Atlas and Maestro orchestration tools, alongside AI-native case management, coding agents and automated software testing.
UiPath reported strong expansion metrics, including 114% dollar-based net retention among customers with over $100,000 in ARR and 120% retention for customers using its broader orchestration platform. It also reiterated long-term operating-margin targets above 30% and expects continued GAAP profitability.
UiPath NYSE: PATH used its investor day to outline a strategy centered on business orchestration and automation, arguing that enterprises will need governed systems to deploy artificial intelligence across complex business processes. Founder and CEO Daniel Dines said the company has grown revenue 3.5 times since its initial public offering and expects to cross $2 billion in annual recurring revenue this year. He said UiPath has also increased profitability and cash generation while transforming its go-to-market model.
Dines positioned orchestration as a foundational enterprise AI capability, distinguishing UiPath’s approach from what he described as “agentic orchestration.” UiPath’s process orchestration is designed to coordinate humans, software robots, AI agents, APIs, credentials, security controls and governance across long-running business processes, he said.
“You cannot really deliver AI in enterprise without orchestration and governance,” Dines said. He argued that deterministic automation remains important for tasks requiring exactness, such as payments and regulated workflows, even as AI agents take on more reasoning-oriented work.
Map of Work and product roadmap Chief Product and Technology Officer Raghu Malpani introduced UiPath’s “Map of Work,” a framework intended to capture process context that AI systems need to operate within enterprise workflows. The Map of Work includes structured process knowledge, business rules and policies, business-object ontology, operating knowledge and a “Decision Ledger” intended to record human decisions and feedback.
Malpani said UiPath plans to make its Cartographer product and Process Atlas generally available. Cartographer is designed to help business analysts, who UiPath calls “Cartographers,” turn documents, interviews, system information and other fragmented sources into governed process maps. Process Atlas will provide more than 100 pre-mapped process templates for use across selected industries and business functions.
UiPath also highlighted Maestro, its orchestration offering, which the company said is built on the open-source Temporal workflow engine. Malpani said hundreds of customers have deployed Maestro in production across thousands of implementations. He said one financial-services customer reduced client onboarding time from 12 days to one day by orchestrating existing tasks.
The company demonstrated Maestro Case, an AI-native case-management capability for variable and exception-heavy processes. In an illustrative insurance claims workflow, UiPath said a top insurer reduced claims processing time from 24 weeks to eight weeks. The demo showed a case-management agent combining deterministic rules with agentic reasoning, while maintaining an execution trail of decisions, model calls and too...
