Connecting Excellence Group Plc ( AQSE:XCE OTCQB:XCELF ) View Price & Profile Connecting Excellence raises funds to support Bitcoin treasury Published: 06:13 22 Sep 2026 EDT Connecting Excellence Group Plc (AQSE:XCE, OTCQB:XCELF) announced it has raised £600,000 through a share subscription to fund its Bitcoin treasury, acquisition strategy and hiring plans, with strategic investor Adam Back contributing one-third of the proceeds. The international executive recruitment group issued 39,999,999 new shares at 1.50p each, a 3.4% premium to Monday’s closing mid-market price of 1.45p. Proceeds may also help fund Connecting Excellence’s proposed acquisition of a specialist recruitment business that holds 8.216 Bitcoin. The deal, announced earlier this month, remains subject to further legal and financial due diligence, funding and execution of a definitive share purchase agreement. Chief executive Scott Ellam said the fundraising had attracted institutional participation alongside continued support from Back, adding that the company’s model of acquiring profitable owner-managed recruitment businesses while maintaining a Bitcoin treasury was “beginning to be embraced by the market”.
