Total Metals Appoints Veteran Mining Executive Dr. Andrew J. Ramcharan (PhD, P.Eng) as President & Chief Executive Officer and Board Director

Total Metals Corp. (“ Total Metals ” or the “ Company ”) ( TSX-V: TT ) ( OTCQB : TTTMF ) ( FSE : O4N ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Andrew J. Ramcharan as President & Chief Executive Officer and Board Director, effective September 22, 2026.

Dr. Ramcharan brings 25 years of experience across mining and exploration, corporate development, project evaluation, and investment banking. He began his career as a Mine Planner Engineer with Dynatec Corporation, contributing to the start-up of the McCreedy and Levack Mines in northern Ontario. He subsequently served as Manager, Corporate Development at IAMGOLD , where he supported equity financings exceeding $600 million and project acquisitions totaling over $800 million. In 2013, Dr. Ramcharan led the discovery of a major NI 43-101 compliant gold resource exceeding one million ounces in Panama. His expertise spans investment banking and corporate finance, backed by senior roles at Sprott Resource Lending Corp . and Resource Capital Funds . Throughout his tenure, he conducted over 300 project evaluations and oversaw numerous debt and equity financings. In his recent executive roles within the gold sector, he drove strategic growth initiatives that delivered an eightfold increase in share price across two junior exploration companies within 12 months.

Dr. Ramcharan boasts an equally distinguished academic record. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mining Engineering, with prestigious academic credentials from the Colorado School of Mines, the University of Leoben, and the Harvard Business School Continuing Education Program. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, and a Fellow of both The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and The South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM).

Effective September 22, 2026, Tyler Thorburn will step down from his role as President & CEO, and Board Director.
