Yahoo Finance ended its partnership with prediction market Polymarket , Bloomberg reported Friday (Sept. 18). Yahoo Finance had a previous partnership with Polymarket to display relevant prediction market data across Yahoo Finance. That specific agreement ended, but Polymarket continues to be an advertising partner across Yahoo, and we’re open to similar types of partnership. Polymarket announced in a November 2025 post on social platform X that it had become the exclusive prediction market partner for Yahoo Finance. The company said it would power a prediction markets hub on Yahoo Finance that would display probability data from Polymarket for economic, government, and market outcomes and pair this with related news, quotes and analysis from Yahoo Finance and its partners. According to Friday’s Bloomberg report, that hub was taken down in April. Polymarket has announced several other partnerships this year. In January, Polymarket said it formed an exclusive partnership with Dow Jones , a division of News Corp. , that would see real-time prediction market data featured on The Wall Street Journal , Barron’s , MarketWatch , Investor’s Business Daily and other Dow Jones consumer platforms. In March, Polymarket signed a new agreement with Major League Baseball that made it the league’s official prediction markets exchange . The agreement gives Polymarket and its brokers access to MLB marks and logos to be used within their prediction market products, and to official data from Sportsradar , MLB’s global distributor of data for prediction markets. In August, Polymarket said it expanded its relationship with Sportsradar , extending Sportsradar’s sports data, streaming and integrity services to Polymarket across more than 20 sports leagues and competitions representing approximately 300,000 matches per year. It was reported in April that Wall Street broker Bernstein expects prediction market volumes to hit $1 trillion by 2030. The company’s findings said this milestone will happen as the industry moves from niche bets to a larger “information market” that covers sports, cryptocurrency, politics and the economy. Prediction market volumes reached $51 billion last year and are on track to come to around $240 billion this year, the report said.
