OpenAI View Price & Profile Meta's Muse tops Apple's US free app chart Published: 10:21 18 Sep 2026 EDT Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META, XETRA:FB2A, SIX:FB) 's personal AI agent Muse reached No. 1 among free apps on Apple's US App Store on Friday, a week after launch, marking an early milestone for Mark Zuckerberg's push into personal AI assistants. "It's been so exciting to see how much y'all have done with Muse," Meta's chief AI officer, Alexandr Wang, wrote on X, adding that the team was looking forward to building on the momentum. Unlike chatbots that simply answer questions, agents are designed to act on a user's behalf. Meta says Muse can help users research topics, fill out forms, buy items online, book restaurant reservations, find a dog sitter and remember their preferences over time. The assistant also connects with email, calendars and services including Spotify Technology SA (NYSE:SPOT) ( Spotify Technology SA (NYSE:SPOT) ), Instagram and OpenTable, according to the company.
