Volta Metals Announces Closing of Acquisition of Claims Contiguous to the Springer REE Project

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - August 19, 2026) - Volta Metals Ltd. (CSE: VLTA) (OTCQB: VOLMF) (FSE: D0W) (" Volta " or the " Company ") is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of a 100% interest in three contiguous unpatented mining claims (Mining Claim Numbers 722235, 722236 and 722237, collectively, the " Acquired Claims ") adjoining its Springer Rare Earth Element deposit, near Sturgeon Falls, Ontario.

The acquisition consolidates the ground surrounding the deposit into a single, contiguous block and gives Volta a clear path to 100% ownership of the entire Springer project land package.

In consideration for the acquisition of the Acquired Claims, the Company issued 600,000 common shares of the Company (the " Shares ").

The Shares issued pursuant to the agreement are subject to a hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance under applicable Canadian securities laws.
