Talga has begun commercial sales of its Talnode-C anode material to battery technology company Nyobolt, marking a significant milestone in the commercialization of its Swedish-sourced graphite.
The first commercial deliveries of Talnode-C have been made from Talga's Vittangi facility in northern Sweden to Nyobolt, a UK-based company developing ultra-fast charging battery technology.
Talga stated that the move represents a key step in its strategy to become a leading European supplier of anode material for the lithium-ion battery industry.
The company's Talnode-C product is derived from its Jadar and Vittangi graphite deposits in Sweden.
Talga chief executive Martin Priester said: "This is a landmark moment for Talga and a testament to the hard work of our team.
"We are proud to be supplying Nyobolt with our high-performance anode material and to be contributing to the advancement of battery technology in Europe."
Nyobolt chief executive Tom Burvill added: "We are excited to partner with Talga as we scale up our production of batteries that can charge in minutes, not hours.
"Talnode-C's performance characteristics are a great fit for our technology, and we look forward to a long and successful collaboration."
