Speaking with Proactive, CEO Shaun Heinrichs said the latest update marked the beginning of a series of exploration announcements following the completion of the company's financing. He said a major highlight was the identification of the Baker target, a newly recognized mineralized zone associated with a previously untested shear structure intersecting the same host rock that contains the True North mine. Heinrichs said Baker represents the fourth discovery within this geological setting, alongside the San West, San Southeast and Shore targets. He explained that Baker is located approximately 150 metres from the Shore target, creating another mineralized corridor that could potentially be accessed from existing underground infrastructure. The drilling also returned encouraging grades, including an intercept of 36 grams per tonne gold over one metre at the Baker target. Heinrichs said the initial drilling represented only a first pass and described the target as remaining untested both above and below the current drilling area, providing significant follow-up potential. He added that similar high-grade results had also been recorded at the Shore and San Southeast targets, which he said could become meaningful additions to the company's long-term resource. Beyond the latest assay results, Heinrichs outlined an active exploration program that continues to advance multiple objectives simultaneously. The company currently has three underground drill rigs focused on resource extension and infill drilling, while a surface rig is expected to return shortly to evaluate additional targets within the mine lease. He said one underground drill is currently testing downward extensions of the San Southeast target before shifting to infill work and later returning to evaluate the lower portions of both the Shore and Baker targets from the Hinge Ramp. Looking ahead, Heinrichs said the underground drilling campaign is expected to continue for the next 18 to 24 months.
