Lumos Diagnostics appoints Tenmile Ventures representative to board as US commercialisation advances

Sentiment Analysis
Lumos Diagnostics Holdings Ltd has appointed healthcare investment specialist Aizaz Syed as a non-executive director, strengthening its board with representation from its largest shareholder, Tenmile Ventures, as the company advances its US commercialisation strategy.
Syed replaces Lawrence Mehren, who has stepped down from the board but will remain involved in an advisory capacity, supporting Lumos' US commercialisation efforts. The appointment takes effect immediately and will be put to shareholders for approval at the company's annual general meeting in November 2026.
Syed brings extensive experience in healthcare investing, corporate strategy and business development, having worked with a range of healthcare and life sciences companies to support their growth. His appointment provides Lumos with additional strategic expertise and strengthens the involvement of Tenmile Ventures, the company's largest shareholder, at board level.
Lumos chairman Sam Lanyon said Syed's investment experience and understanding of innovative life sciences businesses would support the company's commercial strategy.
Outgoing director Mehren will continue working with Lumos as a consultant, participating in its quarterly business review meetings and assisting management with US commercialisation activities. His ongoing involvement will allow Lumos to retain access to his diagnostics industry expertise, commercial experience and professional network.
