Tango Therapeutics: Promising Early Data, But A Long Road Ahead

Vopimetostat’s combination with daraxonrasib has produced an unusually strong early pancreatic-cancer signal, but the evidence still comes from a very small, previously treated cohort. A planned front-line Phase 3 trial could substantially expand the opportunity, although its final design, timing, and regulatory path remain unsettled. Additional combination, lung-cancer, and CNS readouts should show whether TNGX is building a broader PRMT5 franchise or relying too heavily on one early dataset. The post-offering balance sheet gives them enough runway, but pivotal trials and the potential commercialization remain years away. Overall, I'm excited about those early results. And I'm hopeful later trials corroborate the data from 12 patients. But I don't think it's worth chasing the stock right now.
