Entain PLC ( LSE:ENT ) View Price & Profile Entain keeps 2026 guidance as UK and Ireland growth offsets Brazil slump Published: 02:27 15 Oct 2026 EDT Entain PLC (LSE:ENT) reiterated its 2026 guidance after third-quarter net gaming revenue rose 2%, with strong growth in the UK and Ireland helping offset weakness in Brazil and customer-friendly sports results. The FTSE-listed betting and gaming group said online net gaming revenue increased 3% during the quarter, rising 5% when Brazil was excluded, while gaming revenue grew 8%. UK and Ireland net gaming revenue climbed 8%, with online revenue up 14% as gaming increased 17% and sports revenue rose 3%, while online volumes grew 15%. International net gaming revenue fell 4%, largely reflecting a 36% decline in Brazil as Entain reduced marketing and player engagement ahead of an immediate online gambling ban introduced in September. Australia delivered 1% online growth, while New Zealand, Spain and Canada recorded double-digit increases, although Italy revenue fell 6% as favourable football results for customers reduced sports margins. Entain continues to expect 2026 online net gaming revenue growth of 4% to 6% at constant currencies, with growth excluding Brazil expected at the top end of its 5% to 7% range. Underlying earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation are expected at the lower end of the £910 million to £960 million range, while the online margin is forecast at the lower end of 21% to 22%. BetMGM also maintained its annual net revenue guidance of US$2.9 billion to US$3.1 billion and adjusted EBITDA guidance of US$300 million to US$350 million, although both are expected towards the lower end of their ranges. Chief executive Stella David also urged the UK Government to avoid further gambling tax increases, warning that higher taxes could threaten betting shops, jobs and livelihoods. Continue reading
