Cellbxhealth signs new statement of work with US pharma company

Sentiment Analysis
CelLBxHealth PLC (AIM:CLBX, FRA:DWV), which develops technology to collect tumour cells from blood, has signed a new statement of work worth around $65,000 with an existing US pharmaceutical customer.
The agreement covers processing around 100 patient samples using its Parsortix platform to isolate and collect circulating tumour cells for molecular analysis, including mRNA analysis. This additional work falls under an existing master services agreement, extending the relationship with the pharmaceutical customer.
Parsortix recovers intact tumour cells from blood samples and preserves cellular material for further molecular examination, according to the announcement on 14 October 2026. By providing access to tumour-derived cells through a blood draw, the platform supports biomarker discovery and research into cancer biology and drug development.
CelLBxHealth said the repeat contract supports its strategy to expand biopharmaceutical partnerships and recurring commercial opportunities.
Executive chairman Jan Groen said: ‘We are pleased to expand our relationship with our established US pharmaceutical partner.’
Groen also linked the agreement to growing commercial demand and the company’s strategy for sustainable revenue growth in the biopharmaceutical sector.
