Behind the Screens: VettaFi Team Shares Their Favorite Tickers

The VettaFi Editorial team gathered in New York City to collaborate and talk ETFs. The team shared their favorite tickers and why, celebrating the ever-growing ecosystem of ETFs. From bond ETFs to commodities and everything in between, those ETFs highlight the diversify in that space. For VettaFi Head of Research Todd Rosenbluth it’s all smiles. Rosenbluth pointed to the VictoryShares International Free Cash Flow Growth ETF (GRIN) as his favorite ticker. GRIN launched in 2025 and tracks the Victory International Free Cash Flow Growth Index. The index includes ex-U.S. companies with potential for compounding free cash flow growth. GRIN has returned 19.6% YTD. VettaFI Managing Editor Heather Bell and Writer Nick Wodeshick both celebrated the VanEck Agribusiness ETF (MOO). MOO, with a very clear ticker, offers global exposure to agriculture and food demand via the MVIS Global Agribusiness index. The strategy has returned 15.8% YTD. Bell, a veteran of the industry, also touted a now-closed fund. In her view, the Simplify Tail Risk Strategy ETF (CYA) still merits a mention. Writer Zandile Chiwanza and Assistant Editor Elle Fitzgerald pointed to the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) and the State Street Blackstone Senior Loan ETF (SRLN) as their favorite tickers. For Chiwanza, VOO stands out as a great teaching tool for those getting into ETFs for the first time — thanks to its size and clear approach. For Fitzgerald, SRLN was the first fund she covered in the industry, interviewing former State Street Investment leader Sue Johnson. VOO tracks the S&P 500 and is the largest ETF by AUM according to ETF Database data. SRLN, meanwhile, actively invests in non-investment-grade floating-rate senior loans. Writers DJ Shaw and Yasin Mohamud pointed to the Amplify Video Game Leaders (GAMR) and the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X ETF (SOXL) , respectively, as their favorite tickers. GAMR tracks the VettaFi Video Game Leaders Index, a market cap-weighted index of the 20 largest companies in the space. Mohamud underscored the major growth in the semiconductor world, citing analysis from VettaFi Head of Sector and Industry Research Roxana Islam. Senior Line Editor Casper Miller shared a love for ALPS Dividend Dogs suite. That includes the likes of the ALPS Sector Dividend Dogs ETF (SDOG) which tracks the S-Network Sector Dividend Dogs Index, emphasizing dividend payers. Channel Operations Manager Sherri Scordo, meanwhile, pointed to the Direxion Daily Consumer Discretionary Bull 3X ETF (WANT) for its clear emphasis on consumer shopping habits. Line Editor Jana Ritter cited the Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) for its clever ticker representing the memory ETF. Finally, the author enjoys the simplicity of the BNY Mellon US Large Cap Core Equity ETF (BKLC).
