Gappelberg said the $1 million figure reflects new business only, with renewals, upsells and expansions excluded. The company also expanded its multi-year enterprise agreements during the period. Gappelberg called 2026 "a pivotal year for Nextech," citing growth in recurring revenue, enterprise sales and multiple AI software growth engines. He said revenue quality is improving as the company signs more long-term enterprise contracts, which he said provide multi-year visibility and stronger customer lifetime value. Gross margins of around 80% offer additional leverage as the business scales, he added. A key growth driver is KATE, Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) 's new AI-powered workflow intelligence platform, built as an extension of the Krafty Labs platform the company acquired in January. Gappelberg said KATE is not a chatbot but an "AI employee" designed to train, onboard, support and educate staff around the clock. He said businesses are shifting "from AI assistance to AI employees," and that Anthropic 's Claude provides the AI reasoning behind KATE. The platform costs $2,500 per month to train 100 employees, or $30,000 annually, which Gappelberg said equates to about $3.42 per hour of continuous operation, versus roughly $100,000 a year for a human trainer working about 2,000 hours. "The biggest differentiator is not that KATE is cheaper... it's that KATE scales infinitely," he said.
