Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX:OBM, OTC:ESGFF) is strengthening its environmental, social and governance framework as it expands the Davyhurst gold operation in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields.
Davyhurst, about 120 kilometres north-west of Kalgoorlie, is Ora Banda’s operating and processing hub and the centre of its current growth plans.
The project covers 68 granted tenements across about 1,138 square kilometres and sits across the Zuleika Shear and Ida Fault, two major regional geological structures.
The operation already includes a 1.2 million tonnes per annum processing plant supplied by assets including the Waihi open pit and the Riverina and Siberia underground mines.
Ora Banda is now constructing a second standalone 3 million tonnes per annum plant alongside the existing facility.
That expansion provides the backdrop to the company’s second ESG Report, which covers the 2026 financial year and tracks progress across safety, workforce development, environmental management, community engagement and governance.
‘DRIVE to 300’ strategy Ora Banda produced a record 141,000 ounces of gold during the year, while resources increased by 75% and reserves by 159%.
Construction of the new processing plant is underway as part of its broader ‘DRIVE to 300’ strategy.
The company highlighted a production guidance of 125,000-140,000 ounces for the 2027 financial year.
Once the new plant is commissioned, combined nameplate processing capacity is expected to reach 4.2 million tonnes per annum.
