Silver Range Resources Ltd ( TSX-V:SNG OTC:SLRRF ) View Price & Profile Silver Range targets structurally controlled gold at Drum project Published: 08:40 24 Sep 2026 EDT Silver Range Resources Ltd (TSX-V:SNG, OTC:SLRRF, FRA:8SR) has identified new drill targets at its Drum gold project in central Utah after compiling decades of historic exploration data. The company completed analysis of historic data from the Drum Property, originally collected by Goldfields Limited, Newmont Mining and Troymet Minerals. The dataset includes 41 drill holes, 476 surface rock samples, 1,121 soil samples, and gravity, magnetic and VLF-EM geophysical surveys. Gold mineralization at Drum is Eocene in age and shares geochemical and geological characteristics with Carlin Trend gold deposits in Nevada. Past operators concentrated on stratigraphically-controlled mineralization, but Silver Range said the strongest historic drill results were structurally controlled, prompting a shift in exploration strategy toward targets similar to the Goldstrike and Fourmile deposits in Nevada. The mineralization is linked to the eruption of the nearby Thomas Caldera, with the regional Joy Fault circumscribing the caldera and cutting through the property. Historic surface samples along the fault returned assays up to 3.94 g/t gold and 47.1 g/t silver. Three drill holes that tested the Joy Fault produced the property's best results to date, including 30.48 metres grading 0.97 g/t gold, with an interval of 1.52 metres at 6.57 g/t gold. Radial faults associated with the caldera extend west of the Joy Fault into carbonate rock, with a notable occurrence at High Grade Hill, where surface samples returned up to 310 g/t gold, 130 g/t silver and 0.38% tellurium. Silver Range plans further geologic mapping, prospecting, soil sampling and geophysical surveys to define additional drill targets. Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX:ALS, OTCQX:ATUSF) holds a 1% net smelter return royalty on the Drum Property. Gold mineralization on the property occurs in jasperoid replacements and breccias within Cambrian-age Orr Formation limestone. Silver Range staked the property in 2025. Continue reading
