The first sales follow Thai FDA approval and the appointment of MediTime as Orthocell’s exclusive in-country distributor, giving the company an established route into Thailand’s estimated US$84 million nerve repair market. Thailand joins Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong as markets where Remplir is approved for sale and generating revenue, as Orthocell continues to build out its international commercial network. Launch program underway Orthocell is working directly with MediTime in Thailand this week to support the commercial launch, including product and sales training and engagement with prospective customers. MediTime specialises in orthopaedics and sports medicine and has established relationships across leading hospitals, medical schools and regional centres in Thailand. The distributor also has a strong position in upper-extremity orthopaedic surgery, giving Orthocell direct access to its core customer group of orthopaedic and plastic surgeons. Orthocell commercial director for Asia Pacific Hamish Thrum is supporting the launch and working with MediTime on sales representative training and surgeon engagement. Managing director Paul Anderson said the first Thai sales marked an important step in Remplir’s expansion across Asia. “Achieving our first sales in Thailand marks an important milestone for Remplir in Asia and reflects the quality of the product, our supporting clinical data and our partnership with MediTime,” Anderson said. The initial rollout will focus on building surgeon awareness and establishing accounts at key medical centres. Anderson said Orthocell expected sales volumes to remain modest in the near term but saw “significant potential for growth over the medium to longer term”. Global commercial footprint expanding The Thai launch adds to a broader international commercialisation push for Remplir, which is designed for peripheral nerve reconstruction. Orthocell plans to continue working with MediTime on clinical education, surgeon engagement and adoption across Thailand as it develops the market. The company is also targeting entry into the estimated US$750 million European Union and UK nerve repair market, subject to regulatory approval expected in the second half of 2026. R
