Entain PLC ( LSE:ENT ) View Price & Profile Entain holds 2026 guidance despite Brazil online betting ban Published: 02:29 28 Sep 2026 EDT Entain PLC (LSE:ENT) maintained its 2026 earnings guidance despite Brazil’s immediate suspension of online sports betting and gaming. The Ladbrokes and Coral owner now expects performance to come in towards the lower end of its forecast ranges. Brazil published a provisional executive measure on 25 September withdrawing operators’ authority to offer online betting and gaming with immediate effect. The measure must receive Congressional approval within 120 days to remain in force. Entain has complied with the restriction while noting that the longer-term regulatory outcome remains uncertain. Brazil had been expected to contribute around 5% of Entain’s 2026 online net gaming revenue, although its contribution to EBITDA was forecast to be modest because of the competitive operating environment. The group retained its 2026 underlying EBITDA guidance of £910 million to £960 million and online underlying EBITDA margin guidance of 21% to 22%. However, assuming the Brazilian ban remains in place for the rest of 2026, Entain now expects to finish towards the lower end of both ranges. Excluding Brazil, online net gaming revenue growth remains on track to reach the top end of the group’s 5% to 7% constant-currency guidance. Including Brazil, Entain now expects online net gaming revenue growth of 4% to 6% for the full year. The group operates across more than 30 territories and owns betting and gaming brands including Ladbrokes, Coral, bwin and Partypoker, alongside its 50% stake in US joint venture BetMGM.
