Bradford, Pennsylvania--(Newsfile Corp. - September 3, 2026) - ZEFIRO METHANE CORP. (CBOE CA: ZEFI) (FSE: Y6B) (OTCQB: ZEFIF) (the "Company", "Zefiro", or "ZEFI") a North American environmental services company specializing in methane abatement and the plugging of orphaned and end-of-life oil and gas wells, today announced the engagement of international investor relations specialists MZ Group ("MZ") to lead a strategic investor relations and financial communications program across all key markets. MZ Group will work closely with Zefiro management to develop and implement a comprehensive capital markets strategy designed to increase the Company's visibility throughout the investment community. The initiative will highlight how Zefiro has built a vertically integrated platform addressing one of America's largest environmental challenges; methane leaking from millions of unplugged oil and gas wells across the United States. Anchored by operating subsidiary Plants & Goodwin, Inc. ("P&G"), a third-generation well services company with a 50+ year operating history, Zefiro serves customers across 13 U.S. states through multiple complementary revenue channels: government-funded orphan well plugging, private-sector plug and abandonment, methane measurement and monitoring, and carbon credit origination. The Company recently reported record revenue of USD $33.2 million through the first nine months of its 2026 fiscal year, alongside seven consecutive quarters of positive cash flow from operations. MZ has developed a distinguished reputation as a premier resource for institutional investors, brokers, analysts, and private investors. MZ Managing Director Lucas A. Zimmerman and Director Ian Scargill will provide guidance to Zefiro on corporate and financial communications, including roadshow and investment conference coordination in key financial hubs and enhancing company visibility through financial and social media channels. Management Commentary Zimmerman commented: "The scale of the orphaned well problem in the United States is difficult to overstate. Estimates point to millions of unplugged, inactive oil and gas wells nationwide, each a potential source of methane, a greenhouse gas more than 80 times more potent than carbon dioxide over a 20-year period. The 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act appropriated $4.7 billion for well plugging, yet that federal funding represents only a fraction of an addressable market estimated in the hundreds of billions of dollars, meaning private-sector demand is the long-term growth engine. That demand is already materializing, notably from power and data-center developers, who cannot build on sites with leaking legacy wells beneath them. With record revenue, seven consecutive quarters of positive cash flow from operations, and a fortified balance sheet, Zefiro has paired a compelling secular opportunity with demonstrated operating execution." Scargill added: "Zefiro is a rare combination of environmental impact and real operating cash flow. Through its operating subsidiaries, the Company is fully integrated across the well lifecycle, from measurement and monitoring through plugging and site restoration, and is supported by high barriers to entry and decades of field expertise. On a trailing twelve months basis, revenue grew 21% year-over-year to a record USD $41.2 million, gross margin expanded approximately 900 basis points YoY to 32%, and cash flow from operations reached $4.3 million. The Company's recent Viking Well Service equipment acquisition is expected to add meaningful annual revenue capacity, and its contracted pipeline includes a $19.6 million orphan well contract in Ohio, its largest government award to date. We believe Zefiro represents a compelling opportunity for our network of institutional and family office investors worldwide." Catherine Flax, Chief Executive Officer of Zefiro, commented: "Zefiro has spent the past year strengthening our foundation by delivering record revenue, sustained profitability, and building a growing pipeline of government and private-sector contracts. As demand for well plugging and methane abatement accelerates, including from new categories of customers such as energy and data-center developers, we believe our story deserves a much wider audience in the investment community. We look forward to working with Lucas, Ian and the entire team at MZ Group to communicate our vision and build long-term value for our shareholders."
