The program tested extensions to the historical gold resource* and advanced priority gold-copper targets across the Kena system, generating significant new data to support the next phase of the Project. Results from the 2026 drill program are expected to contribute to the updated NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate being undertaken by Moose Mountain Technical Services and targeted for Q1 2027. The Company completed approximately 5,180 metres in 19 diamond drill holes, surpassing the 4,000 metres originally planned for the 2026 program. The expanded program tested extensions of known mineralization within and adjacent to the historical gold resource and advanced additional high-priority gold-copper targets, including the Kena Copper-Gold Zone, Kena Gold Zone, Gold Mountain Zone and South Gold Zone. Completion of the program marks another important step in Upside’s strategy to advance Kena toward an updated mineral resource estimate. Logging and sampling of drill core is ongoing, with samples continuing to be submitted for analysis. As previously announced, the Company has engaged Moose Mountain Technical Services (“MMTS”), under the direction of Sue Bird, M.Sc., P.Eng., to undertake the updated mineral resource estimate and NI 43-101 technical report. MMTS and Ms. Bird also prepared the 2021 historical mineral resource estimate for Kena, providing continuity and extensive familiarity with the Project and its geological database. The updated NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate is targeted for Q1 2027, subject to receipt and validation of all required assay and QA/QC data and progression of the resource modelling and technical work.
