LONGWELL (Ningbo Longwell Electric Technology Co., Ltd.), a global manufacturer of EC fans and motors founded in 1990, today introduced its AI-Era data center cooling package. The LWBE3G pluggable fan platform, its core, enables the creation of FanWall systems that reduce CRAH fan energy consumption by 38%.

In collaboration with one of the top three global precision cooling OEMs, LONGWELL delivered 12 engineering samples in 35 days and passed Design and Production Validation (DV/PV) testing 100% on the first attempt. The previous European supplier had budgeted 14 months of development plus six months of commissioning, whereas LONGWELL utilized 90 days from specification definition to mass production.

Recorded results: 38% reduction in fan energy consumption, 6.5 dB(A) less noise, CRAH system PUE contribution from 1.42 to 1.28, and zero field failures. The customer's first order was for 1,500 units; 2025 deliveries exceeded 80,000 units under a 2025-2027 framework agreement with an annual minimum of 60,000 units.

As AI processing power increases, rack heat density has moved from 15-20 kW to 60-100 kW in two years, and next-gen platforms exceed 100 kW.
