Scholastic Posts Downbeat Q1 Results, Joins Legacy Education, Zscaler And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Friday's Pre-Market Session

Shares of Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported downbeat results for the first quarter. The company posted quarterly losses of $3.63 per share, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of losses of $3.40 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $216.800 million, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $224.689 million. Scholastic shares dipped 9.9% to $31.38 in pre-market trading.

Legacy Education Inc. (NYSE: LGCY) shares dipped 13.1% to $9.25 in pre-market trading after the company reported fourth-quarter and full fiscal 2026 financial results.

YD Bio Ltd (NASDAQ: YDES) fell 5.1% to $4.53 in pre-market trading after jumping 48% on Thursday.

Surrozen, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRZN) fell 4.7% to $32.11 in pre-market trading. Surrozen shares jumped 108% on Thursday after the company submitted an Investigational New Drug application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to evaluate SZN-8141 for treating diabetic macular edema.

Stewards Inc. (NASDAQ: SWRD) declined 4.6% to $2.68 in pre-market trading after jumping 16% on Thursday.

Zscaler, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZS) shares declined 3.6% to $206.94 in pre-market trading. Zscaler named Ross Tackett as chief revenue officer.

Sportradar Group AG (NASDAQ: SRAD) fell 3% to $12.70 in pre-market trading.

Concentrix Corp (NASDAQ: CNXC) declined 2.8% to $28.57 in pre-market trading. Concentrix said it will release earnings for its third quarter after the closing bell on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

4D Molecular Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: FDMT) fell 2.5% to $14.35 in pre-market trading.

MMTec Inc (NASDAQ: MTC) declined 2.5% to $5.81 in pre-market trading after dipping around 14% on Thursday.

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc (NYSE: BBW) slipped 2.4% to $24.50 in pre-market trading after declining over 2% on Thursday.
